| These sketches are simple layoutsof lines, shapes and contours... with some of the dark patterns. Using a pencil, further develop each design by establishing midtones. Add more darks if you wish. Establish the source and direction of light before you create shading or cast shadows. Doing this, you should have made pleasing patterns of not only darks, bu also of lights and of midtones. | |||||
