	1. Choose Dark, strong shapes that best express your FEELINGS for the subject matter. Arrange them in an ABSTRACT PATTERN that pleases you. (Use PAPA, MAMA AND BABY BEARS, if you wish.) 2. As before, fill in the entire rectangle with scribbled Midtones, but do not rub over them. 3. Using a kneaded eraser, lift out the very Lightest areas, with some supporting the Darks near the focal point.
