The Return of the Anunnaki?                                                                                        December, 2007                                                                                            Print Version        These days, the media are filled with tales and prophecies of "Armageddon", "Apocalypse", "The End of the World", and "2012".  Much of this is based on the Bible's Book of Revelations, and on the Mayan Calendar's end date of 12/21/12. The Mayans, however, did not prophecy the destruction of our world, but rather, a great Shift in human consciousness leading to our ability to "Transcend Time" and move into a fourth or fifth dimensional existence. The Earth moves into a higher dimension approximately every 75,000 years, or three complete precessional cycles of around 25,000 years. At this time, we will see the end of third-density time, and experience all other cycles of time automatically attracted together as it ends.  (David Wilcock: www.divine cosmos.com) In the higher dimensions humans will have super-mental abilities. Zecharia Sitchin, researcher of ancient wisdoms, scholar, prolific writer and esteemed translator of the Sumerian (ancient Babylon, Iraq, Iran) cunieform tablets, has authored another astounding volume of information about Earth's probable ancient astronauts. His earlier series__ "The Earth Chronicles"__ reported on information recovered from the 6000 year-old Sumerian tablets about the "gods who from heaven to earth came"__ the Anunnaki from the planet Nibiru__ who traveled in an eliptical orbit between Sirius and our solar system's Sun. The first reports of their presence on Earth came about 400,000 years ago in Lemurian times. Ancient history shows they have repeatedly visited our planet and influenced our civilizations dramatically since then. Sitchin and others believe that the Anunnaki (or "Nephilim" as the Bible calls them) created us humans__ homo sapiens sapiens__ genetically, by combining both Anunnaki and human DNA to produce workers for their southeast-central African gold mines about 200,000 years ago.They used the gold to enhance their home planet's atmosphere. These "gods" from outer space visited our planet every 3600-4000 years, and it has been foretold in many indigenous cultures around the globe that they will return to Earth again. Much speculation has taken place about just when this "return" might occur. Some scholars feel that their appearance would also correlate with the Christian belief in "The Return of Christ" and "Armageddon", and others suggest it will be on the Mayan 12/21/12 date. Sitchin's latest book__ "The End Days: Armageddon and Prophecies of the Return"__ suggest several possible dates for the reappearance of the Anunnaki that are based on a number of biblical prophecies, plus Egyptian, Hindu, Islamic and even Isaac Newton ideas. Sitchin calculated three periods when this return is most likely to happen. It would be "not before" and "not after" the dates below:         * between 2132 and 2370 A.D.,         * between 2090 and 2374 A.D.,         * between 2060 and 2370 A.D. However, in an earlier book, Sitchin told of the time of The Great Deluge__ "Noah's Great Flood"__ when all the Anunnaki gods left Earth, including one called "Sin"__ the humans' beloved Moon God__ who had long resided (the Anunnaki were thought to live for thousands of years) in a temple built for him by humans in ancient Sumaria__  now Iraq/Iran. The Sinai Peninnsula was named after this Anunnaki "god". When a temple priestess and other devotees prayed fevently for their beloved Sin's return, he must have heard their prayers, as he really did again appear in his temple long after the other "gods" had left. He was seen by all in that locality and remained there for years afterward until he died. He related that he had not gone with the other Anunnaki in their great ship that took them to their home planet, Nibiru__ he had, instead, gone to the planet Mars where he lived until his return to Earth. Recent testimonies by Dan Burische, "Henry Deacon", Richard Hoagland and David Wilcock relate that right now there is indeed life on Mars, and that life is humanoid. UPDATE March, 2008: There is much in the news about a "Planet X" that has not yet been seen via telescope, but it is believed to be what is causing anomalies in the orbits of Pluto and comets of our solar system__ those objects farthest from our Sun. Update April,  2008:  In an interview on Coast to Coast AM, Linda Moulton Howe brought forth the latest information on Planet X and as many as 100 other planets that are now recognized as being beyond the Kuiper Belt__ outside our presently known solar system. All the planets beyond this Belt plus our Pluto, on our side of it, have eliptical orbits that are tilted from 14 to 44 degrees from the horizontal plane of our solar system's planets. Turns out that Pluto and what was thought to be one of its "moons"__ Charon__ are actually a double-planetary system. Both orbit around a central point. And Ceres, formerly designated an asteroid, has now been upgraded to a planet because it contains most of the solid matter in the entire Asteroid Belt. Astronomers now say our solar system has 13 planets. In order, starting from the Sun outward, they are Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Ceres in the Asteroid Belt, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto & Charon, and Planet X. Update May, 2008: It seems Planet X is all over the web these days. A most interesting 2 part video interviewing Italian journalist Luca Scantamburlo related how a trusted friend, Cristoforo Barbato, had been contacted by a Jesuit priest of the highest level of the Vatican. Scantamburlo's video and website are titled "Return of Planet X". It can be viewed on www.projectcamelot.net by clicking on "Interviews & Reports". Included in the longer video, is a marvelous short video of Planet X and our Sun, said to be taken from a space probe called "Siloe" that was built at Area 51 in the U.S. by the Vatican. The Jesuit also stated that a very large telescope with a lens over eight meters in diameter is being built at the University of Arizona, also in cooperation with the Vatican. Why is the Vatican so interested in space, we might ask?  The Jesuit, a member of the VIS__Vatican's Intelligence Service, felt it might be because of the Third Vision of Fatima, which occurred in Portugal in the early part of the 20th century. Three children saw the Blessed Virgin Mary surrounded by a very bright light, and received messages on three separate occasions. At the second and third vision, crowds of people attended, but only the children heard the message and were told to pass it on to the priest and then to the Pope. The first two messages were revealed to the public by the Pope, and have come to pass, but the third was kept secret for some unstated  reason. The first part of the third vision states that the line of Popes would be ended, and that the last Pope will be the one immediately after our present Pope. This will be signalled when a "white bishop" and a number of Christians are murdered by militant forces. The informer suggested that the second part of the third vision involves the return of Planet X, and that it is inhabited, even though it is very far from the sun with a temperature of about 200* F. below zero. They may be surviving on the cold planet by living underground, having enclosed domes or structures on the planet's surface, or even existing now in "motherships" with drones that pass back and forth to the planet's surface for resources. They are known to be a race of Warriors. All this, if true, could greatly threaten humanity, as well as the possible devastation to Earth and other planets caused by the passage of so large an object through our solar system. This planet and its beings are believed to be the same as those who appeared to the Sumerians and ruled over them in ancient times__ the Anunnaki, or the "Nephilim", as the Bible calls them. They had very advanced technology (they went to and from their planet in spaceships 6000 years ago) and were thought to be "gods" by the Sumerians who worshiped them, sacrificed to them, let them use them to fight their continuous wars, addressed them as "Lord", prayed to them and received punishment or reward from them. One Astronomical Unit is the distance from Earth to the Sun__ about 150 million kilometres or 93 million miles. A problem with this theory is that astronomers say the current "Planet X"__ at 100 AUs away from our Sun__ would have an elliptical orbit lasting only 1000 years, while Sitchin's "Nibiru" was supposed to have an orbit of 3600-4000 years. One explanation is that Time on Earth has greatly speeded up, and perhaps as many as 3-4000 years has elapsed within what seems to us to be only 1000 years?  Actually, there has been no sighting of a planet resembling Planet X, so perhaps this is just another "fear tactic". We must, however, ask ourselves: "Why is the Vatican so interested in this planet?"  Would its arrival with its "superior" inhabitants change our beliefs about how our religions began and what God/Spirit is really like ?  Ah, yes__ we do live in "Interesting" times.                                                                                                 ***
